so every now and then i ask my favourite musicians, producers to select an inspiration information mixtape for the show. i am more than happy and proud to present the inspiration mix by a man, whos music is touching me, especially the solo piano moments. speakin about mr. bugge wesseltoft out of oslo/norway, who is just about to release a beautiful piece of music, his solo piano album "IM" through jazzland records. take your time and listen all the way through. also watch out for his live gigs here in germany beginning of november, 9.11. he will play in darmstadt. i will be there. see you then, bugge and thanks a lot for takin the time doin the mixtape.
other highlights of this weeks show include the hypnotic, tribal composition by etienne jaumet, which is also available as a remix, done by no others than ame - will follow in next weeks show, promise! - carl craig once again in top form vs. tony allen, fulgeance tribute to masekela, finally out - remember where you heard that first back in '06, strong on the beats, check his ep on musique large and a tune called chico, a tune taken from the elaste compilation part 2, this time compiled by tom wieland, and last but not least a nod to paul bradshaw and the straight no chaser gang for providing us with finest artwork and a musical movement the last 20 years. last printed paper issue is out, watch out for the future of straight no chaser. not a bible, but a cool magazine.
