Brame – Shades EP

Artist: Brame
Title: Shades EP
Cat No: DPC 050-1
Format: 12”

Info:
Brame (Tiarnan Mc Morrow to his parents) is an upcoming young producer from Sligo/Ireland. The 20-year old is on the run to spread his music and we honestly believe that he deserves to be heard. Having lined up EP’s on Saft, Morris Audio and Deep Down Slam as well as his current EP on Dirt Crew with his buddi Halo and remixes for Washerman and many others to come it’s just a matter of time for him to be recognised the way he deserves it. His music is deep, driving and most of all very natural, just the way we love it on Drumpoet. 3 tracks aiming for nothing more than this beloved feeling, that makes you groove. There’s no white noise breakdowns, no trance-elements, no acid-basslines and none of the hip things at all that trainspotters like at the moment. It’s simply timeless classic deep house with an honest attitude.

High Heels Breaker

Artist: High Heels Breaker
Title: High Heels Breaker
Cat No: DPC 048-1
Format: LP incl. CD-Cardboard / Download

Info:
High Heels Breaker represents the alter ego of Electronica producer Domenico Ferrari. The Zurich native with Italian roots, who has already performed with Jamie Lidell, returns with his new album “High Heels Breaker” after more than four years of production time. A true sound innovator, Ferrari used analogue electronics to create the sound textures for his new tracks and blended them with sophisticated beats. Inspired by soul, techno and hip hop, he has developed a unique sound with a futuristic touch. Zurich-based DJ Kalabrese and singer/songwriter Sarah Palin with her exceptional voice signed on as guest musicians. High Heels Breaker brings plenty of electronics and fat beats to his live sets and gets the crowds dancing until the heels break.

High Heels Breaker – Come Easy EP (incl. Remixes by Dave Aju, David August, Kalabrese)

Artist: High Heels Breaker
Title: Come Easy EP
Cat No: DPC 051-1
Format: 12” / Download

„Come Easy“ is the first single of the upcoming album by High Heel Breaker. What is „Come Easy“ about?
High Heels Breaker: „I wanted to write a soulful and electronic song with the idea to leave it as empty as possible by using the minimum of music notes and rhythms. Nowadays we are massivly flooded with (social media) data so that I prefer airy and empty music.“
How did the collaboration with singer Sarah Palin come about?
High Heels Breaker: “Zurich’s music scene is not that big. We know each other from the cooperation with swiss rapper Big Zis and met thru my mate Sacha Winkler aka Kalabrese. I called her on a monday morning and asked her, if she’s in and if she could write some lyrics in the following 1-2 months. I sent her the track, she agreed and the following friday the vocals were . . . →

Quarion – Sunday Night EP

Artist: Quarion
Title: Sunday Night EP
Cat No: DPC 049-1
Format: 12” / Download

Info:
Quarion is back with an awesome release. This man needs no introduction to connaisseurs,
running the excellent Retreat “vinyl only” label and providing mindblowing music since more
then 10 years. He deserves nothing more than respect for his uncompromising way! As one of
the DPC originators he was always shaping the sound of the label. With this 12″ he represents
his versatile attitude. Sunday Night was inspired by the legendary Panorama Bar, a track
which is spreading equally the vibe of forward-thinking feelings in connection with classic
house vibes. On “Mr. Smith Does Acid” he gives us a driving example of how a slow acid-
disco tune can sound. It’s brilliant to see how this blessed guy breaks out. With “Falling Down”
he presents a truly modern example of a Deep House track with twisted elements in a slightly
British way. . . . →
