Quotes: great release thanks for that !Reboot  / Nice set of mixes in this set. Pitto’s remix is my fave of the bunch. Velanche / Nice remixes! I like the Pitto instrumental and the Beat Edit the most. Will try them out. Willie Graff / love the simplicity and the great bassline of the remix! Len Faki / Nice package, I’d say that either Chymera or jozif wins it for me. The jozif is very reminiscent of the Will Powers stuff from the early 80s (esp. with that vocal). Bill Brewster / Really like the Pitto Instrumental and the jozif remix! Deetron / Great package of tracks on this one! Chymera really stands out for me and is definitely someone who is right on top of his game right now. really musical stuff but fat and hypnotic to create lovely vibes on the dancefloor. looking forward to playing this out.  Jimpster / Love the Pitto remix! Can’t wait to play it out loud! Joris Voorn

Info: Another gorgeous remix package of the Dutch duo TJ Kong & Nuno Dos Santos highly acclaimed debut album „After Dark, My Sweet“ : Chymera starting here with their shimmering deep house trademark feeling, using nice pads and building up a glance house track, which they previously approved on Cocoon, Connaisseur, Komplex De Deep, Figure and other labels.
Scotland’s Scope has been hard at work in his native Belfast studio. Inspered by the “proper” house sound and artists such as Kerri Chandler, his sound as Scope is clearly focused on grooves & melody. His most notable EP’s to date include ‘Strung Out’ and ‘All Night Long’ both on Urban Torque, ‘Magic’ on Large Music and ‘Omaplata’ on NRK. On top of all that, Scope is still steadily releasing tracks, with recent and forthcoming EPs on Sydney’s BEEF Records, Frankfurt’s BCBtec and Chicago’s Large Music. Within a fistful of years, London based DJ and producer jozif has built a solid reputation, with releases “Beats In Space w/ Craig Richards Remixes“ or EPs on Vitalik, Balance and Wolf & Lamb plus a couple of fine remixes.
When Geurt Kersjes, aka Pitto’s “Sexvibe” shook European and American dancefloors earlier in 2008, reviews were nothing short of ecstatic Just like his debut Aphex EP on Jackmate’s Phil-e, “Sexvibe” sold out within days. Both releases illustrate Pitto’s superior mastery of climax-building and his rather un-Dutch soulfulness. With a bunch of releases and remixes lined up and his first album Green coming out soon on Joris Voorn’s Rejected imprint.

Groove Magazine Review “After Dark My Sweet”: Combines tradition and the current State-of-House in a perfect, discreet and aesthetic way like hardly any album of our recent times. Instead of bits and pieces the songs, which are enriched by the star-voices, are not only vehicles for their popularity, but furthermore really good compositions.
