Info: As can be heard on the upcoming debut album “One I, Two Eyes”, the approach of Raoul Walton (and his alter ego Wei-Chi) to music is more of a global kind. A mixture of classic modal jazz with pop and techno elements is what marks out his collection of songs and it’s just the same mixture that shines through on this 12” “Faces And Places”. Coming from different ‘faces and places’ are the tracks on this 12” indeed. One of the artists who contributed their producing skills are Germany’s Roland Appel & Christian Prommer from Fauna Flash. They will fulfill your demands and surprise with the fabulous title track “Faces And Places. And for those of you whose demands aren’t fulfilled enough and who can’t get enough of the lads, the third Fauna Flash album is coming up in 2005! Then it’s Moonstarr from Canada who is responsible for the future-minded ”New Paradise which will leave other DJs drooling with elect. Being a DJ himself since the age of 17 and now also showing his know-how as a producer, Moonstarr is definitely set to push the boundaries of electronic music with the instrumental version of “New Paradise”. Only to be found on this EP! And last but not least it’s finally back to some other vibrant place, Germany’s capital Berlin, and one of its remix-faces, Henrik Schwarz. DJ and producer Henrik Schwarz is probably known best for finding his own special place ‘Chicago’ on Mood Music. But in the meantime, he’s returned and willing to bring his feeling for casual groove to this Wei-Chi track, he created a remix that will lift you up to some place higher of your own…
